Jörg Becker und Uli Kürsten sind das Duo Opaton. Zwei harmlose, ältere Herren auf dem Weg zum Bärenticket, gestrandet in den Kneipen der Großstadt.

Ihre deutschsprachigen Lieder erzählen von der Liebe, dem Leben und dem Bestreben, ewig jung zu bleiben. Von klug, bis witzig, von sentimental bis heiter und von jung bis alt. Zwei Gitarren und zwei Sänger mit unterhaltsamer Musik, die sie „Rhythm’n’Folk“ taufen.

AUSGERUFEN (bezieht sich auf die Kunst der Marktschreier) ist die Konzertreihe im Das PLUS am Neumarkt. Vorwiegend hausgemachte, handgefertigte Musik mit ehrlichen Texten, die das Leben inspiriert. Das Konzept der Hutveranstaltung soll die einbeziehen, die sich Kulturerlebnisse nicht, oder nur unter Problemen leisten können. Die, die es sich leisten können, geben dafür ein wenig mehr, um die Wertschätzung für die künstlerische Leistung zu würdigen.

Jörg Becker and Uli Kürsten are the "Opaton duo". Two harmless, older gentlemen on their way to a senior citizen ticket, stranded in the pubs of the big city.

Their German language songs tell of love, life and the endeavour to stay forever young. From clever to funny, from sentimental to cheerful and from young to old. Two guitars and two singers with entertaining music that they call "Rhythm'n'Folk".

AUSGERUFEN ("called out" refers to the people selling their goods on the market right outside our shop two times a week, sometimes addressing the customers with shouts) is the concert series at Das PLUS am Neumarkt. Mainly home-made, handcrafted music with honest lyrics that are inspired by life itself. The concept of the hat event is intended to include those who cannot afford cultural experiences or can only afford them with difficulties. Those who can afford it pay a little more to honour the appreciation of the artistic performance.
