DARGEBOTEN | Frank Gebauer – Wild @ Art (english below)
Frank Gebauer lebt und arbeitet in Oberhausen. Für seine vielschichtigen Werke bedient sich der Künstler der Fotografie, der Malerei, der Objektkunst, sowie der Installation, die er zu faszinierenden, konfrontativen Gesamtwerken zusammenbringt.
Inspiriert sowohl von der Farbigkeit der Pop-Art, wie auch von barocker Komposition und Lichtführung, widmet er sich, zum Teil auf verspielte Art, aktuellen gesellschaftspolitischen und provokanten Themen und sprengt damit Grenzen und Sichtweisen des Betrachters.
Kunst - Ikonen der europäischen Vergangenheit oder Gegenwart werden ebenso zitiert, wie auch in Frage gestellt, stets kreativ auf den Punkt gebracht, aber immer auch mit einer gehörigen Prise Humor.
In einer langen Reihe von Ausstellungen und Kunst-Aktionen im In - und Ausland hat Frank Gebauer seine Arbeiten präsentiert.

Die Ausstellung ist vom 13. April bis zum 5. Mai zu den Öffnungszeiten des Projektladens zu besichtigen:
dienstags: 10-13 und 14-17 Uhr
donnerstags: 10-13 Uhr
freitags: 14-19 Uhr
DARGEBOTEN (bezieht sich auf die feilgebotenen Waren der Markthändler) ist die Ausstellungsreihe im Das PLUS am Neumarkt. Kunstwerke, Gemälde, Skizzen, Fotografien, Collagen - alles ist erlaubt. Lokale, regionale, nationale und internationale Künstlerinnen und Künstler, Fotogruppen, VHS-Kurse. Jeder, der sich traut darf!

DARGEBOTEN | Frank Gebauer – Wild @ Art
Frank Gebauer lives and works in Oberhausen, Germany. For his multi-layered works, the artist makes use of photography, painting, object art and installation, which he brings together creating fascinating, confrontational works.
Inspired by the colourfulness of pop art as well as baroque composition and lighting, he devotes himself to current socio-political and provocative themes, sometimes in a playful manner, and in doing so breaks down the boundaries and perspectives of the viewer.
Art icons of the European past or present are both quoted and questioned, always creatively brought to the heart of the matter, but always with a good pinch of humour.
Frank Gebauer has presented his work in a long series of exhibitions and art events at home and abroad.

The exhibition can be viewed from 13 April to 5 May during opening hours of the project shop:
Tuesdays: 10 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 5 pm
Thursdays: 10 am - 1 pm
Fridays: 2pm - 7pm
DARGEBOTEN (refers to the goods offered for sale by the market traders) is the exhibition series at Das PLUS on Neumarkt. Works of art, paintings, sketches, photographs, collages - anything goes. Local, regional, national and international artists, photography groups, AEC classes. Anyone who dares may!
