Der kanadische, mehrfach preisgekrönte Fingerstylegitarrist Don Alder wird im April und Mai 2024 wieder in Europa (Deutschland, Holland und Belgien) unterwegs sein.

Don Alder, Sänger/Liedermacher/Komponist aus Vancouver, Kanada, tourt seit 2007 international und begeistert seine Zuschauer mit einer kurzweiligen, abwechslungsreichen Show. Besucher seiner Konzerte sind auch Tage danach noch von den Eindrücken hingerissen. Don Alder ist unkompliziert im Umgang mit Fans und wer ihn persönlich kennengelernt hat, weiß, dass sein Herz ebenso groß ist wie sein Talent.

Alders Spezialität ist die Kombination der Fingerpicking-Technik mit gleichzeitiger Nutzung der Gitarre als Perkussionskörper, um so quasi eine Wand aus Tönen zu erschaffen. Seine selbst komponierten Stücke sind eine einzigartige Kombination aus tief verankerter Melodie und Rhythmus, und er bringt bei seinen Auftritten eine einmalige Dynamik auf die Bühne. Don Alder ist außerdem einer der besten Harfengitarren-Spieler auf der Welt.

AUSGERUFEN (bezieht sich auf die Kunst der Marktschreier) ist die Konzertreihe im Das PLUS am Neumarkt. Vorwiegend hausgemachte, handgefertigte Musik mit ehrlichen Texten, die das Leben inspiriert. Das Konzept der Hutveranstaltung soll die einbeziehen, die sich Kulturerlebnisse nicht, oder nur unter Problemen leisten können. Die, die es sich leisten können, geben dafür ein wenig mehr, um die Wertschätzung für die künstlerische Leistung zu würdigen.

The Canadian, multi-award-winning fingerstyle guitarist Don Alder will be back on the road in Europe (Germany, Holland and Belgium) in April and May 2024.

Don Alder, singer/songwriter/composer from Vancouver, Canada, has been touring internationally since 2007 and delights his audiences with an entertaining, varied show. Visitors to his concerts are still enraptured by the impressions days afterwards. Don Alder is uncomplicated in his dealings with fans and anyone who has met him in person knows that his heart is just as big as his talent.

Alder's speciality is combining the fingerpicking technique with the simultaneous use of the guitar as a percussion instrument to create a wall of sound. His self-composed pieces are a unique combination of deeply rooted melody and rhythm, and he brings a unique dynamic to the stage during his performances. Don Alder is also one of the best harp guitar players in the world.

AUSGERUFEN ("called out" refers to the people selling their goods on the market right outside our shop two times a week, sometimes addressing the customers with shouts) is the concert series at Das PLUS am Neumarkt. Mainly home-made, handcrafted music with honest lyrics that are inspired by life itself. The concept of the hat event is intended to include those who cannot afford cultural experiences or can only afford them with difficulties. Those who can afford it pay a little more to honour the appreciation of the artistic performance.
